Meet Newton, the Tiger Salamander! Newton is about 4-5 years old and has dark olive and moss colored spots.

Tiger salamanders go through an amazing metamorphosis from their aquatic larval phase to their terrestrial adult phase. Before he became the beautiful silly salamander he is today, Newton was originally sold as bait at a local Jax. His previous owners rescued him and were even there to see him take his first breaths of air when he morphed!

Tiger salamanders like Newton love to burrow and dig in their substrate. He especially loves his earthworms as well!

Newton would love a 40g enclosure with lots of substrate in his forever home.
