Sssssay hi to James, the Wandering Garter Snake!

James is a sweet and curious snake who loves to explore their surroundings! They also have a passion for swimming and can often be found swimming laps in their water dish. This Olympic-hopeful would love a home that can provide them with a 36”x18”x18” enclosure (or larger) that can fit a large water dish to continue their training!

James arrived into our care with a noticeable spinal fracture about 1/3 of the way down their body. Radiographs showed that it is an old injury that they have been living with for some time. Despite the past injury, James is very healthy and active! They are a fantastic eater and will go absolutely crazy for their favorite food, earthworms!
