Come with us to Boedecker Lake to kick off our summer herping hikes! Enjoy the beautiful riparian zone around the edge of the lake which provides a wonderful habitat for many of our native reptiles and amphibians. Possible species include garter snakes, milk snakes, yellow-bellied racers, bullsnakes, painted turtles, woodhouse’s toads, chorus frogs, and more!

Bring your paddleboards and kayaks along for getting out on the water after the hike.
