Budo is a gentle giant, and we mean giant! As the 4th largest tortoise species in the world, Budo is already over 19 lbs and still growing at just 8 years old.

This beautiful tortoise loves to calmly explore her surroundings and peacefully sniff interesting objects. She is inquisitive and friendly toward her human pals and loves watching our volunteers. Budo also has a healthy appetite and loves to have her salads hand fed to her. She would love a home that can accommodate her size and love for exploration. If you have a large secure yard that Budo can relax and explore in during the summer months and an indoor space that can accommodate her size in the winter, she would be an excellent friend for life!
