Animal Care
Gaining hands on experience in animal husbandry, medical treatments, and behavior for a wide variety of species.
Important notes about Animal Care:
We ask that all volunteers that would like to participate in animal care be 16 years of age or older.
Be prepared to professionally handle situations involving defensive animals, bad smells, medical treatments, and needles.
While we are still growing, our animal care shifts are limited to twice a week opportunities.
Have reliable transportation to and from our shelter.
